This is a used burner frame in good shape with a bit of surface rust.
This fits a late model 228F lantern made after 1971 (roughly). Previous years have a different burner frame and vent that is smaller in width at the top. This will not work or be proper for other models of 228. This frame requires the new style vent that has a wider opening of 5-1/4" to accommodate the wider frame.
