Coleman Lantern Model 242C - Not eligible for $1 Shipping Program

  • Not sure this is a C model due to repaint of fount and porcelain vent. Looks well done and the vent does look like it was refinished in porcelain.
  • Collar has been polished to brass color - no identifying marks on it for the model or if it is US or Canada made.
  • Manufacture date is missing or covered up during the repaint - made somewhere between the 1936-1950
  • Pumps up and you can hear air come out the generator tip when the valve is opened. Tip cleaner lever moves smoothly.
  • We have not tested this lantern to see if it runs, but it should work with minimal work.
  • Someone spent a lot of time making this nice.
